Hi Stephanie,

we were doing this ~5 years ago with a form of disjoint rollovers on 
graphics (normally used for menus, but worked OK for tooltips as long as 
the tip graphic was small enough). I wonder why I do not still have 
nightmares about inconsistent behaviour in various incarnations of 
Netscape 4 :)
