for about 1.5 years my newton WAS my personal computer - i used one  
at work, and my newton at home. no palm pilot ever filled that gap.

ground breaking products are often under-appreciated, but usually  
remembered. the only ground broken by madonna's sex book was seeing  
vanilla ice naked.
