Especially this application shows how important it is that also the
'tagger' is an important aspect of any classification. What is
'alternative' to me might be ' folk' to you. (e.g. The Roches) This
means that we should be adding tags AND ALSO tagging who you (the
tagger) are. Don't you agree?
I think this is generally true for our entire Information Architecture
world. The objects themselves get way too much attention. The
classification of objects depends largely on who is classifying. For
example a florist will classify flowers in a totally different way than
a biologist. I think it all comes down to the misconception that there
is this one truth that exists independent from us. I consider truth as a
consciousness of a person and therefore may differ from one person to
the other.
