NYC Face 2 Face October Meeting

When: Tuesday, October 18, 6:30p - 8:30p
Where: Parsons Design Lab @ the Parsons School of Desing
            55 W. 13th St., 9th Floor (@ 6th Ave)

Finally our own event to really start the new season going. The NYC IxDA
Face to Face is going to be on the tail of a very special announcement from
the new Board of Directors of the Interaction Design Association. This is a
HUGE event
and as in most life-changing events it is good to take a step back and
gather some perspective to revel in one's accomplishments--in this case the
accomplishments of all of us, the Interaction Design community of practice.

4 steering committee members (there are 14 in case people were curious) will
be on hand for the evening's events. The first part of the evening will be 2
presentations:
"History of IxD" by David Heller
by looking at where the field has come from we can look further into
where we will be going.
"History of IxDG" by Greg Petroff
Greg has been doing some research and will present us with a history of
where IxDG started and where it is going.

The 2nd part of the evening will be related to the announcement and include
a question & answer period.

If you have questions, please feel free to contact us at nyc (at) ixdg (dot)
com.

See you there!
