Your non-response is not very helpful.

Why is design/Design (with or without initial cap) in your view a
panacea? Why resolve/limit yourself to the same cookie-cutter?

What is it about design, in your view, which avoids patterns of
decontextualized problem-solving? What if your always designing in the
same way, or using the same process?

We can talk about Dr. Nielsen as a meme-peddler but how are you not
doing the same :-) :-) ?

Why should we believe your arrogantly confident predictions (that design
is king)?

I think value-creation does not hinge on design (as your constant stream
of edicts would claim) but instead on appreciation. The more valuable a
thing is the more value it has. This is not an attribute of design but
of usefulness! A Bic lighter is designed to light a flame, for instance,
but also makes a handy beer-bottle opener (in a pinch). I value and
appreciate that. Milk crates are well-designed as containers, but also
make something else.

This is a pure management issue: how will I use (ie. manage) this thing.

So, I think design is wonderful but not essential, in fact, usually
additional. Designer jeans are great but jeans are jeans, and I
appreciate that. Craig's List mentioned earlier is just another example.
