I think it makes no sense to use these as visualization tools for 
consumption outside the context in which they were created. They 
summarize ideas and concepts in brief terms as to provide an aid to the 
people creating the concept maps and expanding their ideas around a 
central topic. It is not a navigation tool, it does not aid content 
retrieval or consuption for other audiences.
