I've recently gotten involved with the project mentioned in the Wired
article ("Get Connected"). The IHMC implementation of the concept map
concept seems very interesting; I'll be happy to share  impressions of
these tools as my understanding deepens.

That said, does anyone have thoughts on the use of these types of maps
as the primary UI for public-facing sites? I think that while concept
maps can be valuable tools for knowledge work / representation, their
usefulness as navigation structures for sites with untrained audiences
is questionable. Anyone care to comment / agree / refute?
