: RAMBLE ALERT - I was wondering is it's typical for people to read work
based books as you
: would in a normal book club? At work my reading tends to be task
orientated - Having said that
: though I do tend to read overview books such as the Fogg book in that
fashion.

I had suggested a book club some time ago and I think it is a really
nice idea; and I was in London, where were you then? :( - I would
expect it to be virtual though. I don't really classify my reading
between work vs. other books, so I don't imagine the book club being
different. A book, is a book, is a book :)

Some people mentioned having just started some Lakoff books - I am
starting Don't Think of an Elephant & Metaphors We Live By - is anyone
else reading it and would like to exchange ideas?

As far as the book club goes I believe this and other IA lists are
appropriate forums for the exchange. If the idea picks up and
participants prefer a less public discussion forum a new list could
always be set up.
