I like it when people answer their own questions:

Of course there is, but ONLY IN CONTEXT. If in fact you're going to
generalize based on 'averages' (whatever that may be), you sure don't need
my experience at all: Just make it up.:-)

Seriously, this is precisely how design gets into trouble.
