Yes, indeed. But there is one thing even worse than this: it stops people to
think about the optimal solution!!!! Because, if it is a best practice, it
is supposed to be good, isn't it?

The good thing about best practices is that they may prevent some people to
reinvent the wheel and that at least some solutions are being documented....
