Wow. I messed up.

Manu, I owe you a huge apology; I see that my email to the list didn't
even come through until now and that your response had come only to me.
I sent my response to the list--on purpose, I'll add, not sure as to why
our conversation was off list when I sent to both earlier today.  I
realize now that something happened in between the sends and all I can
say is that this is a big error on my part and in poor form and I am
truly sorry.  Regardless of our opinions on the topic I did not intent
to step out of bounds like this.
