The User Experience Analyst will be part of the recently announced

This position will work alongside Information Architects, Product 
Managers and Customer Insight Analysis to create innovative design 
solutions based on customer knowledge and proven techniques.

The User Experience Analyst will be part of the group responsible for 
delivering value to both customers and Comcast by converging customers’ 
needs and business goals into great experiences.

Experience and Qualifications

* Ability to translate business goals into design requirements;
   understanding of business strategy and values, good grasp of
   metrics associated with UI performance, ability to extract
   relevant information from stakeholders, competence communicating
   with a multi-disciplinary team and leadership to drive the project
   vision to the extended team throughout the design process

* Ability to translate user data into actionable information;
   experience with user research methods used to gather qualitative
   and quantitative data: ethnography, contextual inquiry, market
   segmentation analysis, usage log analysis, personae and scenario
   development, task analysis, etc, and practice in evaluating
   features and requirements on a value basis using user research
   findings as underlying reasoning

* Ability to communicate abstract design decisions and recommendations;
   talent to converge business goals and user needs into a conceptual
   framework that defines the user experience and convey its structure
   and behavior through context-relevant software-agnostic deliverables

* Ability to test and iterate design solutions;
   experience planning, conducting, analyzing and reporting formal and
   informal end-user testing, utilizing any range of prototypes from
   rough drafts and sketches to paper prototypes to working prototypes
   to live functional versions

* Passion for the user experience practice;
   knowledge and commitment to tutor other team members, run in-house
   workshops and brown bags on UX, interest in exploring new trends in
   user experience design and involvement and contribution to the user
   experience community (writing articles, presenting in conferences,
   etc)

* Experience handling everyday business issues;
   ability to delegate tasks, manage time and deadlines, resolve
   everyday problems (deliverable exchange, formats, fonts, printing)
   and wisdom to ask for help when needed

* Creativity and resourcefulness;
   ability to self-motivate and remain enthusiastic in face of
   adversity, constant pursual of better methods and processes, and
   persistence in growing and improving oneself

* 5+ years experience leading the IA/UX component of at least 3
   large-scale (web and/or software) projects, degree in a related
   field, such as human-computer interaction, anthropology, human
   factors, business, design or cognitive sciences

This position reports to the Senior Manager of Information Architecture 
and Usability, in Philadelphia, PA. There are currently no existing 
direct reports for this position. Multiple openings are available and 
positions will be adjusted to fit the most qualified candidates.
