[Sigia-l] recent change in Google's results

Does anyone know how Google identifies which urls to place in its new
hierarchical/related results? We're also noticed that Google is using
a description for one of our pages that differs from what is in the
meta(description) tag.

In the example below, I'm talking about the row marked with >>

     PAGE TITLE
     Description metadata from the site itself, or not.
     www.url.com/ - 17k - Dec 7, 2005 - Cached - Similar pages - Remove result
