Thinking about training, I've put together an introduction to
information architecture:
* http://www.squidoo.com/ia/

It's supposed to help provide a good intro level understanding of the
field: our concepts, processes, best practices, and tools.

I'd appreciate any feedback you might have regarding glaring
omissions, outright misinformation, better links, etc. (especially as
it's readily available on the interweb)

I'm especially curious about your take on the books I selected. I left
out the polar bear book because I don't see it as an intro level book.
I see it as the step after the intro when you want more depth.

Likewise, there are several other IA books I left out:
* Information Architecture: An Emerging 21st Century Profession
* Information Architecture for Designers: Structuring Websites for
Business Success
* Practical Information Architecture: A Hands-On Approach to
Structuring Successful Websites

Do you think any of these belong as part of a basic intro? Or are they
more specialized or suited for the next step?

Thanks,
