If you're thinking about data analysis tools, have you looked at the 
software for ethnographic research, specifically software that supports 
grounded theory? It lets you input analyze lots of text. Don't know of 
of a name though, my girlfriend is working on an ethnographic project 
where they use it.

Having said that, I don't think commercial projects (assuming you want 
to sell this tool) generally work like that (generating LOADS of text 
that can later be referenced.) That's more something for the academic 
market.

Looking at the market, (and I'm sure this is controversial) I can see a 
need for a tool that helps people take the right steps in creating 
personas. Kind of guided "persona creation" for beginners. Perhaps best 
as a website/service.
