[Sigia-l] Where to buy an international HR taxonomy?

Hiya!

I'm the web designer/information architect for Misys TCM, part of Misys
International Banking Systems, a division of Misys. We are moving
quickly to implement Plumtree Portal globally, which is why we are now
fully involved in working towards a rich taxonomy. As an international
company, we are well aware that HR will possibly be the trickiest part
of the space, since banking and IT terms are not so difficult. Bodies
such as ISDA and ISMA can help us in our main field.

Thus we are keenly interested in a serious global HR taxonomy. Although
I could develop one by running about the planet and interviewing our HR
directors, I would rather begin by basing my efforts on some standard;
alas there doesn't seem to be a strong international HR association that
has done a taxonomy project. The International Association for Human
Resource Information Management, the Society for Human Resource
Management, and the International Labour Organization, for example,
don't appear to have ever even considered this topic!

Your help (URLs?) would be greatly appreciated, and I thank you for your
time. Surely this is a problem faced by many others!
