I did ask, but they side-stepped the question by saying they are aiming
it at "web application design professionals." So I surmised they didn't
really know and that I should suggest they pump up the volume for IAs.

Not really (which is why I'm not actually using it), but they don't
elaborate on the features I think are most significant for IA use, like
the ability to document the design as you create it. Most importantly of
all, they don't seem to have grasped what the tool could do if it
exposed stuff as XML.
If you have a Windows box, have a play with the demo and see what you
think.
I should add I've not used iRise, mainly because the pricing isn't
practical for the majority of projects I'm involved with (and in any
case I'm a consultant).
