To all everyone in the San Francisco Bay Area:

We're organizing an IA Summit Redux in San Francisco for Friday, May 6th.
We had one last year and it went off really well, attracting people who
couldn't make the Summit or who were excited about the Summit from hearing
people talk about it.

When: Friday, May 6th. Start time: TBD, probably noon or 1 pm
Where: Offices of Adaptive Path, 363 Brannan St., San Francisco, CA 94107
Who: You! and bring a friend who might be interested...

There will be a space available for presentations, and there will also be a
separate room available for munchies and the opportunity to network with
other IAs, so there will be ample opportunity to hear good stuff and talk
with other folks.

So far, we've got the following folks lined up to present. If there are
other Summit presenters out there who will be in San Francisco on May 6th,
please let the organizers know (contact info at the bottom of this email)
and we'll include you in the line-up.

The presentations we have scheduled so far include:

Peter Merholz Content Genres
Jim Leftwich The IA of Things: 20 Years of Lessons Learned
Janice Frazier Leveraging Business Value: The ROI of User Experience
JVeen, LBecker Working With Content Management Systems

Sarah Rice Developing a Faceted Classification
EMalone, et al Implementing a Pattern Library in the Real World: A
Yahoo! Case Study
Brett Lider Why Amazon is not Enough
HMax, et al Talking the Talk: Helping IAs Speak the Language of
Business
Karl Mochel Design Patterns in Enterprise UI Architectures

Questions:
- Are you interested in attending? Please let us know so we can have a
count of the # of people coming.
- Would your company like to be a sponsor and provide food/beverages? (good
munchies make good gatherings...)

More detailed info about the schedule will be forthcoming in the near
future. Reserve May 6th on your calendar, and we look forward to seeing you
there!!
