One way is to acknowledge our own intention. When we complaint about
other people, it is our way of trying to control them. Control,
control, control...

Instead of trying to control other people, it may be more fruitful to
control ourselves. By that, I mean not imposing our own standard onto
other people's public behavior. After all, a discussion list is a
public area. It is not like someone keeps knocking on our door or
mis-behaving inside our own home.
