>We are following a pattern. How do we break out of it?
When this thread started a few days ago, I thought, "Geez Louise, here
we go again..." But to my surprise it has been a subject that has got
everyone going - newbies, long-time lurkers, frequent posters and
everyone in between, myself now included. This is good.
The list, like everything else in life, is only as good as we all make
it. While I understand there are some who are hesitant to post to the
list for fear of the response they'll get, there are plenty who aren't
afraid or put off.
Like many others I ignore threads once they go off the rails and down a
rat-hole but that doesn't excuse me from not trying to elevate the level
of discussion. I was thrilled to see the thread on IA and Prototype
Theory, with posts that are thoughtful and include references, and I
understand that if I want to see more discussion of this quality, it's
up to me (and anyone else who feels the same) to ensure that that's I
see on this list.
