[Sigia-l] Five questions about the future of this community

I don't see what the big deal is. If you don't like the way someone
responds to the rest of the list, then you should flip the bozo bit and
ignore that individual. Whether the person gets the message at some
point and changes their communication style or goes away is irrelevant
from that point forward; they no longer communicate with you.

I've been lurking here for a good while. I've not posted before, but
because I felt I didn't have anything important or substantive enough
to say (not certain this qualifies) and not because of some troll. And
let me tell you, your trolls are mild. I've been on the 'net in one
form or another for close to 20 years and this list is wonderfully
mannered in comparison to some I've seen. Of course, relativism is no
excuse. But this is real life, and some people are just rude. That
doesn't mean you have to interact with them. That's why you can hang up
the phone, throw away mail, and delete their messages without reading
them.

On a lighter note, I appreciate the heck out of this list. I'm not an
IA by profession but I have a lot of interest in the IA and UX areas.
Thanks.
