Elizabeth,

We do this kind of testing quite often, although usually 
remotely, with users participating from their native 
countries. We've found the biggest factor to be aware of is 
time. Even with a skilled real-time translator (we use 
Language Line), it takes about 35% longer to conduct each 
session because of the time it takes to translate the prompts and
discussions.

Also, feel free to let the translator use common web and 
computer terms in English, as the participants tentatively 
ask us sometimes if it's okay to say "download" instead of 
"telecharger" or something like that.
