[Sigia-l] Dropdown Menus listing states, regions

We currently have a dropdown menu that lists US states, Canadian 
provinces,
but also groups US into Regions. The feedback that we have gotten so far
hasn't been really good, and I really don't care how it's displayed 
either.

What are some effective ways of dealing with this?

Can you clarify the issue? Is the issue that it's difficult to select your 
state/province from the one dropdown? Your "not caring" is probably 
beneficial in this case so long as you care enough to arrive at a solution 
that works.
