[Sigia-l] Web apps without IE?

For the first time in 8 years, IE's browser share dips significantly.

Apple introduces Dashboard, visually rich app platform that works inside and
outside the web browser, developed entirely in CSS, JavaScript and HTML +
few public extensions.

Apple, Mozilla, Opera, Macromedia, Adobe and Sun agree on an expanded
browser plug-in architecture.

There are now voices inside Microsoft (made public by their blogs) who think
the IE monopoly is in danger and thus must be overhauled now, instead of
waiting for Longhorn sometime in the future.

Interesting times.

This quickly sums up the terrain:

Avoid at your own risk.:-)

Heterogeneity happens.
