Refusing to have user testing may mean the client is very confident
about the user interface. Such confidence may arise from being
attached to the user interface. If that is indeed the case, showing the
impact of other badly designed interface may not help because
"our interface is much better." You may want to get people whose
opinions the client values highly to comment on the user interface.
That may get the ball rolling.
