Perhaps it would be far better served to consider what the reasons and
rationale are for using the right side navigation, as I've maintained
all along. Simply considering any sort of developmental reasons or
implied fluidity aren't serving a purpose of the usefulness to users,
which, again, requires analysis and an understanding of how the users
are working with an application and why. The blog is one example,
certainly, but most likely not something practical from an application
standpoint, at least not from a corporate standpoint.

I still do not believe that how the users would use an application is
being considered by jumping directly into implementation. Certainly
discussing implementation issues isn't a bad thing, but this thread
originated with someone seeking examples of well-designed websites with
right side navigation--and I'm not sure that I've seen a single answer
to that, however, there have been several responses to the initial
response that stated, "...if a person's browser window is not maximized,
a navbar on the right might not even be visible, I'm afraid I cannot
conceive of such a navbar being "well designed".".

That said, we're all way OT here and I've been discussing the original
tangent about the right side navigation being well designed..

Eh, forget it. No side is budging; it's not even a debate. Kent, I
hope you've found some information in your searches.
