OK, I'll go along with west coast thinking that's so, ahem, square. :-)

I think not in bureaucratic job requirements but in more malleable project
requirements. Job reqs get us into title rigidity and endless turf wars.
Project reqs open it up to more fruitful recombination of skills whenever
and wherever needed. Some projects may require more/less/none of an IA than
others. But *all* projects will benefit from the five top qualities you list
of *any* title. So, all I'm saying as I always do, let's focus not on the
title but on the product.
