I agree completely with this, although I am much less able to ignore the argumentative and self important than you are!

Some people have very odd ideas about what a community really is, or is supposed to be. Communities everywhere and at
all times have room for idle chatter (I had to look up "palaver") and arguments that get more serious than they should.
If someone has a problem with the content on this list, then they should post something of value and see if they can
generate the same number of responses that they can get with a group flame.
