Some months ago at an industry gathering, a bunch of people were talking to
Adobe exec. I raised the issue of poor support for one of their products on
one of the platforms. One of the Adobe execs, predictably, complained about
corporate limited resources, etc. I asked why, in that case, they were
wasting any resources on Atmosphere at all. He said they had plans for that
product, they could see how in the future...and all that fuzzy rumination. A
designer quickly complained about lack of OS X support at the time for
Atmosphere. I said I'd be very surprised if she had to worry about
Atmosphere in another year or two, for I could see no foreseeable business
logic for it. The Adobe exec wasn't amused at all. I may have been too
generous.
