To question our assumptions, and to expand our understanding.

Nah, I don't think so. It's only like what, 10 years old? A mere baby!
We've only scratched the surface. Compare with other mediums like TV,
photography, radio, the glossy magazine. All of those have gone through
many growth curves where the language of the medium was being expanded,
and some continue to do so.

I don't think it's the limitations of the technology, I think it's a
lack in our understanding of its unique strenghts. (Consider: blogs only
took of recently). That's why I want that research, to go to the next
level.
