Hellooo - rejoining after a long absence.
I have read the archives about touchscreen layouts, but the one thread about
it ("Designing touchscreen text input interface") admits to testing users
familiar with keyboards.
As developers of ATM software overseas and at home, we could well encounter
users who are not very familiar with a kb.
I would very much like to read Norman and Fisher 1982 article in Human
Factors Journal, but I don't seem to be able to find it online. HFJ archives
only go back a couple of years.
Does anyone have any data on kb layout for the general populace?
Thanks.
