Job Description:
Systems Administrative support for systems configuration management(CM).
Position includes: (1)Establishing a process for placing all systems
hardware and software under a CM process; (2)Tracking all changes that go
into a system to include, but not limited to, configuration changes,
application updates,utilities, and operating updates; (3)Define procedures
and approaches that automate the use of Tivoli in proactive mode, i.e. Our
customer should know something is wrong before their customer knows. Manage
and maintain the on-going integration of the Servers. As products are
delivered to the Customer's IT shop, there is a requirement to move code
from the repository to the various servers (development box, compile it,
then test box, then finally production) Some of the boxes are on the low
(unclass) side and some on the high. Position also involves managing and
maintaining the operation of the EIS lan structure. EIS will be installed on
an oracle box, and be available through the web/portal. Finally, the job
entails management of the physical movement and disposition of software in
various stages of its lifecycle.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, related technical training (or equivalent experience)
plus at least two years of directly related experience. Oracle iFs
experience, Oracle database experience (dba background good), Web page,
experience with project tracking, familiarity with software engineering
practices, experience with CM techniques, duties and tools, experience with
UNIX (Solaris) systems, experience with UNIX scripting and java programming
(java is used to create custom capabilities in iFs), Oracle application
server experience (forms server, ldap, OEM), experience with UNIX system
admin.
