[Sigia-l] VISIO - indexing wireframes

Hi Pradyot!

I'm really pretty sure that Visio won't easily don't this. All the things
you can insert are page centric - there's no easy way to get it to insert
the name of another page.

A couple of thoughts - recent versions of Visio (2002 and 2003?) let you
record macros- you could write/ record something that inserts the page name
of the current page (using the Insert->Field command in a text box), copies
that name, pastes it to your index page, and then moves on to the next
page... certainly not trivial. For a really horrific workaround, you could
take a screenshot of the Drawing Explorer view which shows the names of all
your pages (shown at View->Window->Drawing Explorer), and paste it into your
index page..

Subject: [Sigia-l] VISIO - indexing wireframes

Hi There,

I am tring to look for some help on how can VISIO allow to index all the
pages. I have created wireframe using Microsoft VISIO Professional
2002(call it professional Hazard) and now want to add an Index page on
the front page.

I am quite familiar with the Microsoft Word, and it allows to do it with
equal easy. Was wondering if Visio has anything like it.

Thanks in advance for your reply.
