[Sigia-l] (perhaps slightly OT) Removal of "mcjobs" from dictionary

Dear all,

dictionary publisher Merriam-Webster's is apparently under pressure from McDonald's because of the inclusion of
the word "McJobs"  in the new edition of the dictionary.

It appears that they have folded under pressure. During yesterday, they  removed the word "McJobs" from their web site's page with new words from the new edition.
