There are a lot of brainstorming tools out there but Inspiration does look
useful (not used it). I tend to find these sort of tools easier to use when
gathering my own thoughts though. In a brainstorm having a computer as the
focal point can stop people adding their own thoughts - it's easier to come
up and take the pen to start adding their own thoughts to those on a
whiteboard.
I can understand why Inspiration is focused on students. These tools often
work better in schools because more classrooms have Interactive Whiteboards
in classrooms (e.g.
http://www.magiboards.co.uk/interactive-boards/index.htm) than businesses
have them in meeting rooms. Strange but true - it's an area where schools
have invested and are ahead of business, certainly in the UK at least.
