i always say that there's plenty of money in nonprofits. it might be an ok gig, but could be a torture job. my primary business maxim is: those who pay the least squawk the most.

I'd say its lower than low, IMHO.  However, for a non profit, understandable, perhaps, but still a bit insulting.
