I agree.  As Andrew Dillon explained during the panel, his notion of
"information shape" extends *into* the document.  Ideally, the design of
web sites should be informed by an understanding of document structure
(as well system structure) which in turn influences users'
understanding.

The destination documents and objects influence the degree to which the
overall system is useful, usable and desirable (and can support
findability, credibility and understanding).

I guess Jesse is advocating that we embrace a broader definition of IA
that includes the content itself and not just the structure and
semantics that help people find that content :-)
