So why bother emulating their mistakes? :-)
As I pointed out, "Half of what doctors know is wrong." That doesn't mean
medicine is bogus, it's just that the body of knowledge (as well as
methodologies) moves fast. Yesterday's theory, definition, belief, fact,
methodology, etc., is another 'mistake' tomorrow.

Easier said than done. 50% of doctors aren't necessarily unintelligent.

As some people would like to cling on to notions that are (or soon to be)

No I don't. Humility comes from realizing that our knowledge changes fast
and insisting on our own prejudices as gospel calcifies the field.
