Hi,
I was experimenting with CSS based designs, just as I started looking at
cross-browser, cross-resolution issues after completing first prototype, I
noticed there's something more missing from the whole picture. The prototype
http://www.ejazasi.com/art is based on 4 main categories, Design Arts,
Literature, Performing Art and Visual Arts. Firstly to categorize Arts
itself was a daunting task since I am not from this background. Then topical
categorization was a problem since Modern Art shouldn't be placed near
Multimedia Art or should it be?
Beside should the logo have white space on all sides for more legibility?
any reference for this? and then when you getinto
http://www.ejazasi.com/art/designarts.html which is subsite, should the rest
of 3
categories be "closed" down and only main category link should be there and
"selected one" design arts be "opened"?
I need everyone's feedback how to go about the IA and experience design
aspect now. We
don't have any research lab here so have to look at you for help.
Please post your comments, critique and suggestions directly to me, I would
humbly post the results in the list.
