I would submit that until the first principles are agreed upon this field 
will never make any significant progress, however, I digress - it was not 
my intent to reopen the "definition of I/A" debate (that was last months 
posting) - it was a moment of weakness, forgive me.

What I did want to do, however, was explore the notion that we should not 
be 'grouping content' for the sake of it - but more to satisfy users 
goals/tasks. I was encouraged by the (mostly) positive and constructive 
responses and the sharing of views (some similar, some opposite).
