[Sigia-l] bias and ambigious metadata

This is a post I made earlier about how I feel maybe bias *ads* value to
ambigious metadata, instead of detracting value as often assumed. Does
anyone have pointers to library wisdom or research about the dynamics
between bias and metadata? 

(I am not particularly talking about the html meta tag by the way. I
mean metadata in general.)
