Derek, I think we find our source,
our roots, in the library, the
antique and lovely place where
information is stored and
disseminated free.  Once I 
told my library committee that
we are a place for ideation.
One of the less cluefull members
said "ideation" is not a word.

Information as property is
kinda repugnant to me, like
not letting people play with
your toys and building iron
curtains.  Copyright and the
equation between information
and money, the capitalization
of information, could well
lead to dangerous monopolies,
secrecy, and information prison.
