I always thought that the properties of friendship
are critical in a successful user interface.

The screen is my friend.  It knows what I mean, and
I ask tell it to do me favors.  I would expect it
to know me, what annoys me, how I like to do things.

Friendship, by the way, is destroyed by the transfer
of money...
