Have you been part of purchasing such a tool? I was on the perperiary of
such a purchase some time ago, and great due diligence was done, many fine
questions were asked, the vendor promised the moon and showed wonderful
screenshots and testing... and had essentially lied. the tool turned out to
be so unusable that no one could use it. The promised of customization never
came though, and the support  folks were never available, despite the fact
the company paid for it.

Some companies are decent, but many were hucksters. It was a time of great
swindles.
