In Freehand? Command+5,1,2,4,8 keys magnify 50%, 100%, 200%, 400%, 800%. You
can of course arbitrarily drag zoom in to 6400% or up to 256X.

In OS X you can assign menu items to keyboard shortcuts and multi-button
mouse drivers allow you to assign keystrokes to buttons/wheel, so you can
achieve the effect you're after, but why?
