The new version also means you DON'T need to work in the timeline anymore.
You can use the slide presentation mode and your slides are defacto pages
... 
Powerpoint + Visio + Fireworks all in one!!!!

Things that I wish flash had are better controls:
I know they are only in their second reve of this, but this was the
complaint last time.
The complext controls like tree, and menu are still hard to use compared to
in visio.
There are also controls missing like tab controls and really good
window/wizard controls.
Visio 2003 has awesome controls for Windows GUI prototyping, if only they
had the level of interactivity I get w/ the Flash equivalents it would be
awesome.

What I've done in my multi-app environment is cut and paste control from
Visio and turn them into symbols in Flash. I save the library and re-use.
