The design firm I was at in the mid-90s built a round room they called their kiva
(inspired by the Anasazi Indians). It's white board all around (save for the 
projection screen). 

When I was there, clients liked it so much that they'd ask to borrow it for 
their own meetings unrelated to the work we were doing for them!
