A little bit of knowledge is a dangerous thing to start making comments
on - especially comments about stupidity. The ballot in California will
be arranged in random alphabetical order based on the Sec. of States'
pull from a random drawing and then rotated using that order across 80
districts.

scanning through a couple of hundred entries, either on an incredibly
long
piece of paper or on multiple non-alphabetic pages.
I love being not part of California.

why not go with alphabetical order?
california is beyond a stupid state.
conan obrien described california the best the other night by scrunching
up his face, running his hand through his hair, making grunting noises
and running around the stage for 30 seconds. he didn't need to say any
more. we all got it.
