But that's the whole point - card-sorting isn't a design activity any more
than user testing is a design activity. Card sorting, category labeling, etc
should be activities to help discover how users think about specific
features / content / etc. Then, based on the results, the optimal
organization and labelling should be "designed" by a professional - and
retested for validation.
