One facet of usability is "learn-ability."

In the course I teach at UCLA, we do a 50 minute lab session on Visio the first week of class, and the students go off
to create a site map on their own for the next week's class. I've never heard a single complaint that the students
couldn't accomplish what they needed to after such a minimal introduction.

I've done a lot of software training, and in my experience, Visio is incredibly easy to learn how to use -- right up
there with PowerPoint as a matter of fact.
